Description
The Japanese Officer’s Sword that survived WW2 in Guam. A World War II Japanese Sword found in the Northern Jungles of Guam by a Chamorro lady wants to return home to Japan with its history and roots. Most swords are made, marched in parades, and displayed…this sword was made, appointed to an Japanese Imperial officer, than tried and tested in battle. This sword has a history of battle and bloodshed that today the indigenous People of Guam, called the Chamorros who endured and lived through the war would rather see this Sword melted, crushed and destroyed because it conjours a lot of bad memories. The owner now is an Indigenous Chamorro Islander who wants to repatriate this item because we are at peace with Japan And its people. Its purpose now is to return home to the officer’s family or origins. This sword has a history of battle, bloodshed, survivability and discovered by a Guam Chamorro, like the straggler soldier “Yokoi” than taken into a Chamorro’s home and cared for. It is a truly an “Unsurrendered Survivor” item with many war stories to tell. Definitely a Museum and Collector’s treasure. Call or email for terms of this remarkable piece. Contact is (671) 646-5113. Leave message with return info. Terms: 1. Due to the sword's priceless history, Seller and Buyer will decide the best possible way for shipment prior to final payment. 2.
