Description
Shown is a Type 12 STANLEY No.1 SMOOTH PLANE. It was made from 1919 to 1924. This one has the first Sweethart tm produced in 1920. Body and frog have 99% original Japanning with two minor nicks on the inside rails. The body is smooth as a baby's butt, has lots of patina, but no rust or pitting. The dark Rosewood knob and tote have all their original finish, and no dings. Number "32 is cast under lever and frog.
