A rare piece for the ultimate collector. Of the 1,000 Balrogs originally minted, 75 of them were set aside and specially signed as Artists Proofs by Ben Wootten, to besold exclusively in New Zealand.  Thus, this is one of only 75 Artist's Proofs. The statue has only been opened to photograph for this auction. There are photos below that I took while opening the box to verify the condition. It was well documented, so I have many more if youd like. Note- This item has NEVER been displayed and has been in its original box since its 2002 initial release. The base is beautifully designed with a felt bottom printed with the Artist Proof (photo below) but during shipping a piece of the horn was seperated and was professionally repaired. It is nearly invisible to the naked eye (please see pictures). This is extremely fragile and insurance is mandatory!
