The hand-painted designs richly interpret scenes of nature in precious metals and lavishly colored pigments.    Adorning the cap and the barrel of this pen is a hand lacquered image of a soaring bald eagle in gold, green, and white on a field of black lacquer.  The details are what make this pen so brilliant; the art is intricate down to expression on the eagle’s face and the texture of its wings. The 18K solid gold “FINE” nib is engraved with a design that frames the wording “NAMIKI 18K-750 10 <F>”.  The tailpiece (bottom of the body) of the pen has Japanese writing and the limited edition number 261 lacquered on it.
