I don't know the origin. It is hand spun and woven and the dye appears to be natural. The second pic shows about 2/3 of the blanket. It is 45 X 85" not including the tassel/fringe which is typically 4 inches. They are twisted and the ends come to a fine point. Some are missing. Otherwise the blanket is in fabulous condition and smells great. This blanket has a good weight to it and the weave is very tight. From both the top and bottom the blanket begins with 7.5 inches of off white. This is followed by two blue strips. There are 5 rows of people. The pattern is the same on the back as it is on the front, in other word, one could turn the blanket over and see the exact same design. Quite a find! Please email with any questions or answers.
