This is rectangular oblong shaped and measures 7 in. (length) x 3.3125 in. (width) x approx. 0.375 in. (depth). This is flush hinged, has rounded edges with a thread pattern inner border and decorated with an engine turned wavy pattern. The interior is initialled "L.S.N.H.". This is fitted with a base metal spring holder and weighs 238.8 grams (7.677 ounces troy without the metal spring). The elegant box was made by Adie Bros. Ltd. in Birmingham 1937.
