Description This is a relist of the sign that was on ebay last week and was pulled afte a buyer bought it, then backed out.This a super rare Chevrolet and Cadillac dealership porcelain and neon sign. You will never find another one like it as GM generally did not allow Chevrolet and Cadillac to join together, but required Cadillac to be paired with a more upscaled line of Buick or Oldsmobile. There is no painting, clear coat, or touch-up on the porcelain faces, they are completely original. The can has been painted, and new neon, wiring, and transformers have been installed. The sign is just as it hung on the dealership other that the neon and wiring being redone. It measures almost 16' tall, and is 9' wide at the Cadillac portion. It is a double sided sign with the original can and framework. It has not been pieced together, but has only been cleaned and waxed. I have purchased a few  high end signs from a collector, and will sell a few of them that I cannot use or that are duplicates. This sign is taller that my shop, so it must be sold. I am putting the reserve as the price I gave for it to recoupe some of my investment. If you are the winning bidder, I would consider accepting some other care dealer sign in part trade for the payment. I prefer local pickup, but can work with you on shipping if you are unable to pick it up locally.
