This was what they called "the penny bank" a giveaway item when an investors would open a savings account at their bank. I have been loving antiques since I was 12 yrs. old...over 50 now and I have never, ever seen a bank like this before! Condition is near excellent..paint has worn..typical of using it. By the way...you have to twist the dogs head to get the money out and then the whole bank falls apart! Pretty clever..hence the saying "breaking the bank" It's fun trying to put it back together tho.
