Description
Up for consideration is a grouping of 3 child's jukebox phonographs.  Earliest model is the Bing Crosby Jr Juke, which plays 78rpm records only.  The metal cabinet of this phonograph is pretty good, and decals (or paint designs) are also intact.  Very minimal wear and rusting.  Lighting consists of a flashing bulb that illuminates plastic pilasters on side, as well as plastic front.  Plastics are in good condition.  This phono hasn't presently got a needle; worn one was removed but never re-ordered, although they are still available.  Picture shows that back panel (pressed board material) comes up about half way on the back of the unit.  If there is a backpanel that covers the rear of the turntable opening, I'm unaware of that.  This unit is open behind the turntable. Second machine is also called a Jr. Juke, although I can't find a maker's name.  It plays 4 records speeds, and I have used this one in the past to play the few 16rpm records I own.  After a couple minute warm-up, I can affirm that the 16rpm speed was true.  I never tried the other speeds.  Plastics are in overall very nice condition; they are delicate, especially the white removeable top.  When lit, the interior bulb shines through the side and front red plastic, as well as up through multi-color lenses surrounding the turntable.  About 37" tall, with nice decorative 'grille' speaker cloth out front. The 3rd unit is a "Morse Electrophonic" record player (3-speeds), as well as AM/FM radio.  Bottom panel illuminates nicely with the starburst pattern pictured.  Light is static; some players have lights that alternate with the music, but these are all lit at once.  There is a 'Light Control Center' dial on back of unit, which stands about 32" tall.  I dont' know the light control center does, it is numbered.  There is a jack for a headset, as well as 'tape input' on back of unit.  It has a heavy plastic dust cover, intact; the turntable shows evidence of there having been a glued-down mat at one time. These are decorative units, none is perfect, but all seem to work fine with perhaps some adjusting.  All show some cosmetic aging also.  Due to the size, weight, and fragile nature, they are pick-up only near Hazleton PA.  And paypal is available, which enables the 10% promotional discount.  Email any questions. On Jul-22-08 at 17:20:25 PDT, seller added the following information:The buy it now price is supposed to read '$650' rather than $750, but I cannot revise it in the price field.
