Description
Ebay Listing Page (2) Vintage Retro Eames Era Fiberglass Shade Table Lamps Item Description: Up for auction is a stunning pair of vintage Eames era mid-century table lamps manufactured during the 1950s era.  The lamps feature a green pottery base in a stylistic art deco form with wavy lines around the edges.  The bases remind me of the McCoy style of pottery, but I am unsure who made them.  The lamps include their original cords, lamp posts, harps, shades, finnials, and bulb sockets.  The lamps are topped off with gorgeous fiberglass shades featuring a marbelized pattern in two shdes of green.  The shades have cord around the top and bottom edges that hold the fiberglass to the shade rings and they have a rectangular tapered shape.  The lamps are in functioning condition, and overall the lamps stand approximately 21 1/8" tall from the base to the top of the shade. Item Condition: The overall condition of the lamps is excellent.  They are very clean with no chips, cracks, or broken areas.  The fiberglass shades have no punctures or damage, and all of the cord around the shade rings is intact and tight.  The electrical components function properly and the metal components are still quite shiny and clean with no rust or corrosion.  This is a beautiful pair of lamps for the vintage mid-century collector!  Please be sure to check out my other auctions for more great items!
