Lee & The Natchez The historic July 1, 1880 "Robert E. Lee" and "Natchez" steamboat race is presented with beauty and detail. Water flows toward boats, while fire and smoke billow out of stacks.  Steam emanates from pipes, and tiny flags wave in the wind. The entire lamp is done in a deep rich blue/green and looks like a very realistic nightime scene, I love the way the top fades into the dark almost black night sky.. Beneath the scene is printed: " Historic Race   ROBERT E LEE & NATCHEZ   July 1, 1880  COLORS  are CRISP , BRIGHT, and CLEAR  THIS MOTION LAMP IS A "OVAL" SHAPE WHICH SHOWS MORE SCENERY THAT THE ROUND ONES. THE CONDITION OF THIS MOTION LAMP IS EXCELLENT! IT IS NEAR MINT. THERE ARE NO FLAWS TO REPORT. NO DENTS, NO RIPS, NO WARPAGE, NO PAINT LOSS, NO REPAIRS, ONE VERY TINY FLEA BITE NEAR THE TOP RIM WHICH IS HARD TO DETECT. THE BRASS BASE IS NICE AND SHINY AND THE ELECTRICAL IS IN PERFECT SHAPE AND WORKING ORDER. THIS IS A HIGHLY COLLECTABLE MOTION LAMP. ONE WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND ANOTHER LAMP AS GOOD AS THIS ONE IS!  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LAMP TO ALL! PLEASE VIEW THE PICTURES AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF!  THE COLORS ARE VIVID AND COME ALIVE WHEN ITS TURNED ON.  THE INNER SPINNER SPINS FREELY.
